Main activities:
She deals with the preparation and prosecution of Italian, European and foreign patent applications, as well as with the execution of prior art searches in order to provide validity and interference opinions on patents or patent applications. Her activity particularly focuses in the field of chemistry, in particular medicinal chemistry and technology and materials science.
Education:
She graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Pavia, with a thesis in the field of organic chemistry, in particular Synthesis and optimization of the steps that lead to the formation of 20-F3t -Neuroprostane, thesis projects carried out at Universitè de Montpellier, Institut des Biomolècules Max Mousseron.
She took her PH.D. in Materials Science and Technology at University of Parma, PHD project carried out at Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics (ISTEC-CNR) in Faenza, dealing with the development of functionalization processes and release kinetics of drugs and bioactive molecules from 3D hybrid scaffolds, mimicking the bone matrix, involved in the treatment of bone infections and tumors, through the design of local therapies and 3D tumor models.
She is currently carrying out the necessary internship for the qualifying examinations at the Italian Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office.
