Main activities:
His activity is mainly focused in the technical fields of medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical technologies, organic chemistry, biochemistry, industrial chemistry, food chemistry, food technologies and biotechnology. His professional experience includes preparing and prosecuting European, international and foreign patent applications, carrying out prior art searches and providing technical opinions on patent validity and infringement. He has also acquired a considerable experience as ex-parte technical expert or as Court-appointed Technical Counsel.
Education:
Graduated in Medicinal Chemistry and Technology at the University of Genoa, after taking his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the same University, he passed the European and Italian qualifying examination and he is, therefore, admitted to represent before the European Patent Office (EPO) and before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) in both field of patents and trademarks.
He also obtained the “Patent Litigation in Europe” diploma at the University of Strasbourg in 2004.
