Israel, Examination Out Of Turn

The Registrar of Patents has issued an Official Circular, according to which applicants may ask that their application be examined out of turn, by filing a request after 18 months from the filing date. Without such request the procedure may take several years, due to a heavy backlog at the Israel Patent Office.
