Netherlands, Benelux Trademarks Act Amendments

The Benelux Trademarks Act was amended with effect from January 1st, 2004. Main amendments include: – protection (and use) from registration date – requirement that the mark should be capable of being graphically represented – possibility of accelerated registration – introduction of the opposition procedure.
