Starbucks’ Invalidation Trials

Starbucks, the world’s largest coffee franchise, filed three trademark registration invalidation trials against Korean companies, and lost them all. The three companies were: Magos, El Freya and Buck Mulligan. On all cases, the Tribunals judged the logos to be very difference in appearance and pronunciation. A Starbucks representative remarked that the lawsuits had been filed as warning actions.
