Paraguay, Resolution 577/04

The Industrial Property Office has issued Resolution 577/04 dictating that Pharmaceutical Products patents filed in Asunciòn prior to January 1st, 2005 are in violation of the Law. Patent filings for pharmaceutical products will be taken as of January 1st, 2005 according to Patent Law no. 1630/00 in force.
