A few months back, there was news that the first tactile trade mark had been registered, for the “Old Parr” bottle. Now, the first Latin American sound trade mark has been registered in Costa Rica for Florida Ice & Farm Co. The trade mark is the sound of an eagle, and it is used in adverts for “Imperial” beer. The first olfactive trade mark had been registered in the US.
